Draw date/time/location The drawing for the Byki raffle will be held on Saturday, January 17 at Roosters Barn & Grill, 122 W Lake St in Bloomingdale. The Byki will be having a social evening at Roosters starting at 6:30 PM and the drawing will be held later on that night. We have sold 602 tickets to date and we have about two weeks to maximize our sales. This is the time to make one last push! If we do not reach our goal of 1000 tickets sold, the raffle will be a 50/50 raffle and the Grand Prize will be equal to one half of the money we have collected in ticket sales. Regarding the monthly spot prizes The draw for these prizes will take place after our weekly Thursday soccer practice on the last Thursday of each month. Spot prizes will be given away each month until the grand draw. A ticket that wins a monthly spot prize is no longer eligible for additional spot prizes. However that ticket IS eligible for the grand prize drawings. Additional Spot prizes and donations • $100 generously donated to the club by Brian Cooper to be put towards the cost of creating and printing the raffle tickets |
How is the draw made? To ensure complete integrity regarding the draw process, the winning ticket number for the grand prize will be selected by matching the 3 numbers picked during a Saturday drawing of the Illinois Pick 3 Lottery. (The tickets for this raffle are numbered 000 thru 999.) This will ensure that the grand prize winning ticket is selected fairly. The grand prize winning ticket will be removed from the hat, and the second, third and any remaining spot prizes will be awarded by pulling tickets from the hat. Once again, the date of this draw will be determined once 900 tickets are sold. How do I know if I won? All winners will be notified via email or phone, so it is important to ensure that you correctly fill out the details on the ticket stub. Details of prize winners will also be posted on this website. NOTE: There will be income tax implications for some prizes. For prizes of $600 or more, the winner will be required to fill out a W-2G form. For prizes of $5,000 of more, Stare Byki will be required, by law, to withhold 28% of the winning amount for the IRS . Stare Byki FC is registered as a 501(c)(3) organization. |
